The end of Feb brought with it the end of an era –time to move on after 5 ½ years as part of the St Nic’s Church family. It was a lovely week with farewell things each day accumulating in my leaving party on the Saturday and last services on the Sunday.
Although weird to be the centre of attention at the leaving party it was a really special time – thank you to everyone who came and all those who took part, provided food etc. We had a variety of entertainment ranging from thoughtful more serious songs (thanks the Chellings and especially Ellie), fun songs (thanks kids for all doing Hey Clare that was really lovely),

who wants to be a chocoholic (thank you Jen and Rowan for sharing all my weird habits!)
Iqbal – can't explain!
And never forgetting the live Abba performance!

Great night, great memories.
Thanks go to all at St Nic’s for the pile of lovely encouraging and supportive cards, words and gifts – I was blown away!
My last Sunday holds two special memories, being at the front with all the kids as they worshipped God in there way and then having all the kids coming up praying for me, and being brave enough to pray as they do in kids work, off the cuff and out loud – I really miss all you kiddywinks already!
